What's happening at Earthwave :
Northshore Softboard Surf-Off
A fun, fast-moving surf competition celebrating skill, style and the spirit of Earthwave. Surfers will take to the water on soft-top boards and compete in a friendly format, with prizes up for grabs.
Judged by Newquay Boardriders, this event is designed for young surfers who are confident catching and riding waves independently.
Audience: Under 16's
Time: 13h00 to 14h00
Entrance fee: £5 (cash, card or either)
Capacity: 10 surfers per heat, 3 heats
Awards for: To be confirmed on the day
Prizes: Northshore Surf Shop swag plus more

(Softboards are compulsory, with limited hire available.)
Start and Co. Dig for Gold
Young treasure hunters will race against the clock to dig through the sand and find hidden golden boxes. Each box contains a number linked to one of our brilliant prizes, with some extra-special finds buried among them.
Created especially for children under 10, Dig for Gold is simple, exciting and guaranteed to get the whole beach cheering.
Audience: Children under 4 to 10 years old

Shaka Studios Capture Earthwave Content Competition
Help us capture Earthwave through the eyes of the community. Take your best photographs or videos during the event, upload them using the official Earthwave QR code and enter the competition.
We’re looking for the moments that tell the story of the day—from the action and atmosphere to the people behind it—with prizes for the strongest entries.

Cornish Event Hire Solutions Music and Entertainment
Cornish Event Hire Solutions will provide the entertainment for Earthwave, helping to keep the beach energised throughout the day.
Expect music, event announcements, competitions and plenty of opportunities to get involved. It’s the heartbeat of the event, bringing riders, families, partners and spectators together and keeping everyone informed about what’s happening next.

Earthwave Finale
The Earthwave Finale is where riders, families, partners and the wider community come together to celebrate the day. Join us for the official prizegiving, competition winners, speeches, raffles and final announcements in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.
It’s the perfect way to close Earthwave together and recognise everyone who helped make the event happen.

Beach Art Crew Cornwall Sand Art Demo and Competition
Watch Beach Art Crew Cornwall transform the beach with an impressive live sand-art demonstration before creating something of your own.
Individuals, families and teams will then be invited to design their own beach artwork, with creativity and imagination taking centre stage. No previous experience is needed—just bring your ideas, get involved and have fun in the sand.
