World Record Attempt
Saturday, 19th September 2026
Great Western Beach
Newquay, UK
(In case of bad weather or lack of waves the event will commence on the following day, Sunday 20th September)
One Ocean.
One Community.
One Wave.
Earthwave presented by Earniversity is bringing its legendary World Record Attempt to Newquay for the first time.
On 19 September at Great Western Beach, surfers, families, local businesses and the wider community will come together for an afternoon of surfing, music, food, beach culture and good vibes, all building towards one huge moment: Can we get more than 110 surfers riding the same wave at the same time?
Whether you’re riding the wave or cheering from the beach, come down, get involved and be part of history.
